Biography
I have been a practicing physical therapist for 28 years. In 1997, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. In 2003, I obtained my Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions (MGH-IHP). During this time, I worked with patients who had suffered acquired brain injuries. This prompted me to search for different treatment techniques that could be used to assist patients in returning to their optimal level of functioning.
In 2007, I received my Certification in Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) to meet this goal. Since receiving my certification, I have continued to learn and develop additional therapeutic skills through continuing education classes.
I am a manual physical therapist that works to align the skeleton through muscle energy techniques. I also release tension patterns using myofascial release, craniosacral, visceral manipulation, and integrative manual therapy techniques.
Drawing on my expertise, I look forward to guiding and partnering with you on your journey toward better health.
